Guacamole

No More Paying Extra For Guacamole

Ingredients

4 Ripe Avocados

1 Jalapeño - Diced (Remove seeds if you don’t like it spicy)

1/2 Medium Sized Red Onion - Finely Diced

2 Garlic Cloves - Minced

Juice of 1 Lime

1/4 C Chopped Fresh Cilantro

~1 Tsp Salt

Preparation

Elevate your taco night, pair it with a cold margarita, and become the party guest everyone wishes they were. This is a guide and depending on how big your avocados are, how much juice you got from your lime, or how many shots of tequila you’ve had, you might have to add a little salt, lime juice or extra jalapeño. Don’t be afraid to taste and adjust!

  1. Start by pitting and scoring your avocados and scooping the flesh into a large bowl. To do so, cut into the center of the avocado until your knife hits the pit, and then run your knife around in a complete circle. You will now have 2 halves, 1 with a pit that you can remove. I like to then score the avocado into smaller chunks and then use a spoon to scoop out the avocado flesh.

  2. Place the rest of the ingredients into the bowl and mash with a fork until you’ve reached your desired consistency. I like to leave it a little chunky.

  3. Make sure to taste with a chip (or whatever vehicle for shoveling it into your mouth has been chosen for the night) to see if you want to adjust the salt or lime. Enjoy!
